Boucheron's wave tiara from 1910, clearly inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai’s ‘The Great Wave’ woodblock print.  

 

Japanisim as an artistic influence swept through Europe in the 1880s and 1890s as a predecessor to Art Nouveau.  Boucheron was obviously not immune to its unique charm.

 

Very little is known about this stunning tiara.  Munn's Tiara's (a reference) only states that the tiara was fabricated in 1910 by the French master goldsmith Coulot for Boucheron and that its whereabouts are unknown.
