Most of the top haute joaillerie houses are represented here,  like VanCleef and Graaf, all showing off their latest stunning jewels.  As well, there is a fine selection of rare antique jewelry on display, and for sale.

Like any good tradeshow, TEFAF also offers industry education opportunities in symposiums and lectures on design and antiques, market trending, etc.

The show attracts some of the world’s wealthiest collectors and museums and is open from  March 14th until the 23rd, 2014.

 MAASTRICHT MARCH 2014

Van Cleef & Arpels newest creation unveiled at TEFAF:  Its beautiful 'Peony Necklace' using its trademark 'mystery setting' of rubies and diamonds in the central motif.  The Peony is detachable so that you can wear the stunning diamond necklace alone, and the peony as a brooch if you so desire.

Beautiful Art Nouveau Necklace in yellow gold set with diamonds and green garnets, accented with fine pearls.  c. 1900  'A La Vieille Russie'.

Truly an exceptional piece is this gorgeous 'devant de corsage' c. 1885 in diamonds, rubies and peridots made as a spray of flowers.  Each spray is detachable and can be worn as separate brooches.  For sale at 'Epoche Fine Jewels'.

Also featured at TEFAF is this beautiful pair of sapphire and diamond dress ornaments in the form of stylized wheat and cornflowers originally made for the daughter of Peter the Great, Empress Elizabeth.  These are only two out of twenty that were made for her c. 1750.  For sale at 'La Vieille Russie'.
